HPI has been putting out cool bodies for years now. Strangely though they stop production on the oddballs. I have an HPI Chevy Astro van and Chrysler 300M. Both are odd RC bodies and both are out of production. I always loved the old old Porsche 911 body but they stopped making it before I could get one. The first 200mm NSX was pretty dope too. Why am I telling you this? Because they just released a pair of sexy new bodies that may or may not be around for a while.
I tell you what, this E30 M3 is pretty slick. It may not have the detail that the Tamiya body has but this one won't cost half as much as the chassis you're putting it on either.
BMW 2002 Turbo Body
The 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo was BMW's first production turbocharged car, with forced induction giving it remarkable performance for its era. Born in a turbulent time of gas shortages and new safety regulations, the 2002 Turbo boldly wore its performance image in the form of brightly colored reverse-facing "turbo" graphics on the front spoiler. Produced for a short run of fewer than 1,700 cars, surviving 2002 Turbos are now prized by BMW collectors around the world.

The BMW M3 E30 is one of the most famous Touring Cars from the 1980's, having dominated races in the famous DTM and BTCC racing series, as well as wins at grueling endurance races like the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The street-going BMW M3 included aggressive modifications designed for racetrack performance like box-flared fenders, wider wheels and tires, an aerodynamic package for downforce at high speeds, and an engine tuned for more horsepower.
