Beetle by Active Hobby
Its dark and I'm still working. Chasing dollars is life. Except when you're enjoying it. Like chillin in a sweet Type 1 Beetle. So far only Tamiya has done a good job with the classic beetle body now you can add Active Hobby to that short list. I really need to find a US distributor for them. 210mm minis are not that popular over here in the states but I think that is going to change with all of the quality mini products coming out now. I know for a fact that I am going to spend some money on minis in 2011 and so are you, admit it.

Another Active Hobby Post
I've been working 10-11 hour days so my blogging is weak, bear with me until I get into a better pattern. Yesterday I brought you the oh so sexy rx-7 that Active Hobby makes. Today I bring you the Mizzafizzin' Lancia Stratos. This car is lovely. I would put this on a 4wd chassis or even buy the whole kit (ARTR) because this thing needs to see some dirt! Look at it, beautiful isn't it?

Active Hobby Hits Another Out of The Park
My M02 is getting a new body. Boom. This thing is OMG fresh. Seriously, look at it. Now look at your mini. Look at it. Look back at your mini. It's not as cool is it? Of course not. Sadly it is not a monster Savanna RX-7 SA22C (first gen rx7 to us). A quick google scan tells me this puppy is pricey. Like over fifty bucks pricey. I hate spending a lot on bodies because that makes me reluctant to drive them. Anyway this body is worth it. It comes with decals and apparently disc brakes. Remember most Japanese mini bodies are 210 mm wheelbase So your M04 won't cut it unless you shorten it. The M02 can be configured as a 210mm car.

Active Hobby "Angel Eyes" Headlights
So you just cut up your body to make Lamborghini doors and now you really want to rice things out. Well here's your chance! Bam! Angel eye headlights for RC. Actually they look pretty cool. I'm going to be honest here. No one will notice them while the car is driving and probably not even when its still. Only close up pics will reveal the angel eyes. If you're building a Tamiya BMW then here you go. Otherwise they're kinda ricey.

Any available light patterns can be wired to separate part of the ring. For White and Blue Ring headlights, taillights and red line for two types of red rings.Size - Diameter: about 10.5 mm, Length: 45 mm lImage is a prototype. Subject to change specifications and design. The installation process is required to Lightcap. The body shape may be difficult to install. Please be forewarned.

Toyota Land Cruiser Body
This isn't new but not distributed in the states so you don't jack sheeze about it. Bam. Instant Baller Status. I gots the pics and the part number the rest is up to you. It looks a little small to me and its on the CR-01 chassis that has a short wheelbase. It probably should go with a smaller 1.9 chassis maybe even a MRC scaler. Of course when I get my hands on one it will go on a DF-01 with some chrome 2.2's, mirror tint and other 90's pimp accouterments. I live vicariously through my RC's, pitiful, yes.
