Tamiya FJ40 Land Cruiser

You may be wondering a few things. Like Why am I featuring a truck, and why this old truck? I initially started this blog with the intentions of including scale off road stuff. The scale 4x4 market has been kind of slow for the last few months. Most builders prefer to fabricate their own components as well. This means there is little to report. With this post I am changing gears for a little bit. I am still all about racing on road cars in parking lots but I want to bring you some scale 4x4 info too. Since I have been unsuccessful with finding some local rock crawling/scaler buddies I am embarrassingly inexperienced in this segment. No fear, I have a sacler on the workbench, this Tamiya coming in the mail, my Redcat RS10 basher, and a Venom Creeper/SCX10 basher that needs to be finished. We'll have some photos up soon, in the meantime enjoy my new kit.

The CC-01 chassis is equipped with an independent double wishbone front suspension and a rear solid axle featuring 4 linkages which support the durable axle case. The suspension provides realistic driving on Concrete/Asphalt and Dirt. Equipped with not only a durable polycarbonate shell, but all the detail and style of the Land Cruiser. Oval-shaped front grille, blinkers, and mirrors parts give it scale realism.
